Vermont's Fall Foliage Central
Photo - Fall Foliage on display in central Vermont
Late season golds and yellows like this lit up hillsides in central and northern Vermont on October 13, 2008.

We're into the final days of Vermont's 2008 foliage season and the fall color action has moved to the valleys.

It was a great autumn season - sunny days and crisp nights stayed with us throughout September and October. The foliage color change accelerated in late September at a pace that continued throughout most of the season, giving us a spectacular array of bright reds, yellows and oranges across the state.

You can read the full report here.
